What changes the price
- Bike size and panels. More paintwork means more product and time.
- Preparation. A bike with swirls or oxidation needs polishing first. A cheap coating skips this, and it shows.
- The product. Coatings differ in hardness, durability and how long they are guaranteed.
- Extras. Wheels, plastics and engine parts add time.
How to compare quotes
Ask what preparation is included, which product is used, how many layers, how long it cures and what the aftercare is. A coating is only as good as the surface under it. A low price with no polish is usually a thin layer over dirty paint.
Is it worth it in Bali?
For a bike you keep, yes. Sun, salt and humidity are the main enemies of paint and plastics here. A coating slows the damage and makes the bike easier to wash. For a bike you will sell next month, a detail is the better value.
